About IPN

IPN’s Vision
IPN seeks to bring down barriers to enterprise and trade, in order to achieve a world of opportunity, peace and prosperity.

IPN’s Mission
IPN educates opinion formers around the world about market solutions to public policy problems, especially those of a global nature.

How IPN Works
IPN builds and nurtures issue-oriented coalitions of individuals and organisations. In collaboration with our partners, IPN produces materials – such as monographs and opinion editorials – and disseminates these through its various networks, as well as directly. IPN supports various outreach programmes, including conferences, seminars and other meetings.

IPN’s Focus
IPN addresses a range of issues broadly related to development, the environment, health, trade and accountability. IPN’s current projects address issues ranging from access to clean water and safe medicines to climate change and foreign aid.

How IPN is Funded
IPN is supported entirely by charitable donations from individuals, foundations and businesses. It receives no money from any government or political parties, and it does no contract work.

How IPN guarantees its independence from donors
IPN abides by a strict code of independence (see our Statement of Independence and Guiding Principles), thereby ensuring that it is not unduly influenced by its supporters.
