Closed airspace is costing Kenya £1.9m a day: 3000 tonnes of flowers lie rotting and thousands of Kenyan farmers have no work. Only a fraction of the costs and wasted opportunities if we reduced trade with poorer countries as the Royal Society of Engineers suggests.
