Supporting British AND Chinese manufacturing

Without the opportunity to assemble mobile phones, iPods and game consoles cheaply in China, would this fantastically successful British manufacturing company even be in business?  Opening up the economy and allowing our innovators, such as Arm in Cambridge, to climb to the top of the value chain – where we have a comparative advantage over low-cost assembly – is imperative for which ever political party is in charge after the UK General Election on 6 May.
