US food aid: Wasteful and self-serving

65 per cent of USAID's Food for Peace is spent on overheads and none of it will be spent on potentially useful food produced by a company in Tanzania- to be distributed to needy Tanzanians- unless that company opens up a factory in the United States.  Yet another sad, self-serving example of wasteful aid in action.
