A new study co-published by IPN reveals that counterfeit and substandard medicines are harming the reputation of the Indian pharmaceutical industry and endangering the wellbeing of patients.

Julian Harris, co-author of the new study, will speak about the findings at this Legatum Institute event in London.  He co-authored “Keeping it Real: combating the spread of fake drugs in poor countries” and has written extensively on the subject of counterfeit medicines, in publications such as Business Day (South Africa), the South China Morning Post, the Jerusalem Post, and the Business Daily (Kenya).
