Valentin Petkantchin, Ph.D., is director of research at the Paris- and Brussels-based Institut économique Molinari. He has been a research fellow at the Center of Economic Analysis and a lecturer in economics at the Applied Economics Faculty at the University of Aix- Marseille III (France). Between 1999 and 2002 he was a columnist for Libres.org, a French economics and policy webzine.
